Open Practice

• Wednesdays September-December 2024 from 6:30-8:00PM
  • Cost: FREE
  • Location: Bok 316 (1901 S 9th Street, Third Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19148)
  • What to expect: learn Cambodian Classical and Folk dance and costuming. Especially great for performing artists or folks who want to casually learn. Practice schedule includes: stretches, foundations, dance choreography
  • How to prepare: wear comfortable and stretchable clothes, bring knee pads if sensitive
  • Please, no drop-off services: participants 17 years or younger must attend with an adult caregiver.
  • Masks optional. Please stay home if you feel sick!

​Celebration of Kween : Author Event with Philly Asian Queer

• Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 11:30AM-1:30PM
  • Cost: FREE
  • Location: BOK 316 (1901 S 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148 -- CAGE is located on the 3rd floor
  • What to expect: Meet authors Vichet Chum (he/him) and Monica Sok (she/her), Open Mic, and lunc
  • Parking: street parking available. We highly recommend carpooling, public transit, walking, and/or riding your bike over

 
Khmer Language & Arts Program

• Sundays from 10AM-12PM
  • Location: BOK 316 (1901 S. 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148)
  • What to expect: beginner, intermediate, and advanced Cambodian classical and folk dance classes for all 
  • Parking: parking lot and street parking available
  • Annual application fee of $75 per participant (scholarships and payment plans available-- no one will be turned away if they cannot afford the fee)
  • Masks optional. Please stay home if you feel sick!
